Primoz Roglic is yet to get his stage 10 individual time trial underway at the 2025
Giro d'Italia, but already the Slovenian has been at the centre of a big drama after crashing out of his recon and looking in some pain.
Giving an update to the condition of their team leader,
Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe's sports director Patxi Vila addressed his team's social media channels. "There was 1.5km to go, on a right turn, at a low speed and there was some oil on the road making it pretty slippery. And yeah, he went down in front of us, at low speeds but not a single scratch. All good," says Vila positively.
Sadly though, this hasn't been the only crash for Roglic over the last few days. On the crazy gravel stage last weekend, the former Maglia Rosa winner also hit the deck hard. "Those ones (scratches ed.) are a big bigger!" says his DS with a wry smile. "But I mean, he's okay. He's had a good training on the road on the time trial bike, so he's feeling good."
"Of course, it's never perfect to crash, but we are all positive. He's okay, he's looking well and looking good for today," concludes Vila.
