Profile. On the 3rd of September a big stint of racing in North America begins, the Maryland Cycling Classic will be an interesting challenge, a day where the sprinters and classics riders will have the opportunity to fight for a prestigious win.
The race will be 201 kilometers long and be quite hilly. It doesn't look like it directly as there is no long ascent throughout the race however the tally for climbing meters is of 2300 meters to go. At first a very rugged race, but then the riders arrive at Baltimore where they then find a four-lap circuit which has 12.5 kilometers in length and is mostly flat.
