Pelvic Artery narrowing delays Marianne Vos' cycling season - "I have to take 10 days of rest"

A pelvic artery narrowing has led to Marianne Vos delaying the start of her road cycling season, and she is scheduled to undergo surgery on Thursday to address the issue.

"I'm already looking forward to getting back on my bike in preparation for my first races," she shared on social media. Vos had a less than satisfactory experience during the cyclocross season and had to sit out the World Championships.

Following her surgery, she will allow herself some time to rest and recover before commencing her new cycling journey for the season. "After that, I have to take 10 days of rest," concluded Vos.
