The veteran Spanish cyclist Oscar Sevilla has won the last stage of the Tour of the Gila. The Team Medellin - EPM rider beat local rider Alex Hoehn and Dutch rider Lars Quaedvlieg, with the second-placed Hoehn confirming the GC win with only two seconds over the Spanish veteran.
It is the third victory of the rider settled in Colombian lands for some years, since he won the inaugural stage and the overall of the Vuelta Bantrab in Guatemala. Great finish for Team Medellin, recovering from the abandonm by crash of Miguel Angel Lopez as he led the race. Sevilla also finished second overall in Gila.
