Olav Kooij revealed during Jumbo-Visma's team presentation that he will have some good opportunities during the spring. Specially Paris - Nice that will be one of his early season goals.
It was also revealed that the twenty one year old sprinter is not planned to go to the 2023 Tour de France. "I want to keep growing. There is also that space. We look for parts to get better and hope to keep improving that," he said during the press conference
"In the spring, there are some opportunities for me. I will ride Paris-Nice. That will be one of my goals in the spring." Kooij added referring to his short terms objectives.
The Sport Director of Jumbo-Visma, Merijn Zeeman, talking about Kooij said that he can be winning stages in the Tour de France in the near future tough not next year, maybe in 2024.

With part of the squad for Giro d'Italia and Tour de France races revealed during the presentation , nothing was said about Vuelta a España . With this the possibility of Kooij debuting on a Grand Tour next season remains open.
