Colombian cyclist
Nairo Quintana suffered a
hard crash during the second stage of the
Vuelta a Burgos that endangered his continuation in the race. But, true to his warrior blood, the Colombian managed to recover and continues in the competition.
Today, after the third stage of the traditional race, Quintana said the following: "For me it is a joy to be able to ride. I've ridden for many years for the fans, for my country, and these are moments that I also ride for myself."
"Enjoying... enjoying the race, enjoying the teammates, enjoying the events, and the truth is that I am excited every day that I am on the road in competition," are his words as reported by
Ciclismo Internacional.
