Nairo Quintana does not give up after the fall suffered in stage 2 of Vuelta a Burgos: "It's a joy to be able to ride"

Colombian cyclist Nairo Quintana suffered a hard crash during the second stage of the Vuelta a Burgos that endangered his continuation in the race. But, true to his warrior blood, the Colombian managed to recover and continues in the competition.

Today, after the third stage of the traditional race, Quintana said the following: "For me it is a joy to be able to ride. I've ridden for many years for the fans, for my country, and these are moments that I also ride for myself."

"Enjoying... enjoying the race, enjoying the teammates, enjoying the events, and the truth is that I am excited every day that I am on the road in competition," are his words as reported by Ciclismo Internacional.

The experienced cyclist is in a special moment of his career, and after recovering from the hard fall and recovering from the blows he suffered, he expressed:

"It's hard, but it's what we've been taught. The warrior blood we have, that's how we got used to it and we try to be professional, work as a team, help the team as much as possible," said the 2014 Giro d'Italia winner.
