Spanish press have reported that Soudal - Quick-Step riders have been informed that they are free to find a new team due to the potential merger of the team with Jumbo-Visma. Contrary to this however, new reports seem to suggest this is not the case.

It's not accurate," says Global Cycling Network's Head Editor Daniel Benson on his official X (Twitter) account in an attempt to correct the rumours and clear up some of the confusion. "The team and three agents with riders on the team say no comms has been sent out."
