But the Manxman will not abandon the cycling world, and there is a possibility that he will actually be part of
INEOS Grenadiers once again.
This wouldn't be the first time the 'Manx Missile' connected with Great Britain's only World Tour outfit, as he was the team's head sprinter in the 2012 season where he stormed to three Tour de France stage wins, among others. He has since been through many other teams until he hung up the wheels this year.
