Mads Pedersen has shown consistent performance in the tour. Danish rider was able to finish 12th in the third stage held on Sunday.
“It was a very hectic sprint. We don’t have a full sprint train, so we have to gamble a bit. We came a bit too far behind in the last corner, and then it is not easy for me to even be in the mix.  No excuses. I was just not there. We tried our best; sometimes it works out, sometimes it doesn’t," said Pedersen
He started the tour with 6th place in the first stage, then moved to 3rd in the second stage and 12th in the 3rd stage. “These three stages have been absolutely amazing – I can’t even describe it. This was something special. The crowds were just incredible. Parties on the road, even in the middle of nowhere. Just full of people everywhere, supporting us from the sides of the roads.Just full of people everywhere, supporting us from the sides of the roads. Even our colleagues in the peloton are talking about this. This was a good move to get the Tour to Denmar,” Pedersen described. He holds 4th position in GC eighteen seconds behind overall leader Wout Van Aert.
