Australian Allan Davis has been fired from his position as sports director at Lotto Dstny it has been reported following allegations of misconduct against the 42-year-old.
Davis was pulled from his duties at the Tour de France after these allegations became public with Lotto Dstny releasing a statement on the matter at the time and saying to Het Nieuwsblad; “It is a personal matter. This has nothing to do with Lotto Dstny. We do not want private matters to be mixed with team matters."
Now though, according to both Wielerflits and Het Laatste Nieuws Davis is gone completely from the team. The Aussie had been in his role since 2022, mainly working alongside his compatriot and the team's star sprinter, Caleb Ewan.
“Without going into details, it has been decided to stop the collaboration with Allan,” CEO Stephane Heulot, explains on the team's official website. “Lotto Dstny has its own values and standards which we apply in our daily work and in the team. We have a line that we do not deviate from and we require our employees to adhere to it. We prioritize the well-being and integrity of our team and a further collaboration was therefore impossible.”
