Lotte Kopecky - "No agreements were made it was Demi against me"

Team SD Worx had an outstanding performance in Siena's Strade Bianche Donne race, with Demi Vollering and Lotte Kopecky taking the top two positions. They both displayed a competitive spirit and put on a thrilling finish to the race.

“Of course, it is nice to win yourself. But in the end, the most important thing is that someone from SD Worx comes first,” Kopecky told Sporza. Together with Vollering, she worked hard and succeeded in catching up to Kristen Faulkner.

Their determination to win was unwavering, and they fought fiercely against each other to determine the victor. “No, agreements were made it was Demi against me. Demi and I just made the best of it and sprinted for the win. It was exciting. Immediately after the finish we did not know who had won.”

Even though she would have preferred to win, it doesn't matter because the team still came out victorious. “I am happy for Demi that she has put this competition on her honors list. Last week I won the Omloop, today Demi wins .This is hopeful for the great competitions that are still to come,” concluded Kopecky.
