Jonathan Milan and Nils Politt down on mass crash at Paris-Roubaix - Viviani and Rutsch abandon after early fall

Crashes do not stop in the world of cycling and early in Paris-Roubaix another big fall took place. It allowed the breakaway to go up the road safely, but has taken out riders such as pre-race contender Jonathan Milan and Nils Politt.

The crash happened with 226 kilometers to go, in a rather innocent piece of road. Around 20 riders hit the deck, a meaningful fall. The likes of Elia Viviani and Jonas Rutsch have abandoned the race shortl after the incident, but plenty others have hit the deck.

Jonathan Milan of Lidl-Trek rider has crashed and looked in poor state; whilst the fall has also included riders such as Nils Politt, Alberto Bettiol and Tim Merlier.
