Gerben Thijssen wins bunch sprint at Gooikse Thijssen

The Gooikse Pijl today led to a bunch sprint, in what was the final Belgian semi-classic of the week. Gerben Thijssen took the win in the final bunch sprint, beating Jasper Philipsen into what was another high-level win.

Thjssen was the fastest in the finale, beating in the final sprint Jasper Philipsen by a very small margin. After his win at the Tour de Pologne this comes as another very high level triumph. Max Kanter completed the podium once again after featuring in it yesterday at the Primus Classic.
