"Florian Sénéchal must assert himself as leader on cobbles" - Arkéa - B&B Hotels expect big things from Florian Sénéchal

Florian Sénéchal will start the season working in Arnaud Demare's train, before taking on a leadership role in the Flemish classics and semi-classics at the start of the year.

"Sénéchal must assert himself as leader of the Arkéa - B&B Hotels team. A role that he rightly claims, on the semi-classics and cobbled classics at the start of the season, notably Paris-Roubaix which is his favorite race. This is where, to tell the truth, we expect him at a very high level," says sports director Dider Rous.

"At the start of the season he will have work to do in Arnaud Démare's train at the Volta Ao Algarve, and in particular, Paris-Nice. But from the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad, he will be the designated leader on the cobled classics. It’s up to Florian to prove to us that he can be the sole leader on certain occasions."
