21-year-old Tobias Lund Andresen will ride a Grand Tour for the first time in his career, precisely the Giro d'Italia. The Dane reveals this in an interview with Feltet.dk, where he looks forward to the 2024 season.
"The big goal is for me is the Giro. It'll be the first Grand Tour I've ever ridden, so it's going to be huge for me personally," begins Lund Andresen, who can already feel the butterflies in his stomach.
"It is with a little awe. You never quite know how you're going to react in such a big race and how you're going to react in week three. It's been a dream since you were a little kid to ride a Grand Tour, so I'm really looking forward to it," says the young Team dsm-firmenich PostNL rider enthusiastically.
"I will start as leadout, together with Fabio. It will be great to try to win a stage with him." Andresen has already met the Dutch super sprinter, and there is good chemistry between the two, he says. "Fabio is a huge character here in the team and probably also the fastest man in the whole world. I am really looking forward to working with him. I've already gotten to know him a bit, he's a very cool guy," he concludes.
