Covid-19 takes out Aleksandr Vlasov from Tour de Suisse

Covid -19 has infected many riders in Tour de Suisse and Aleksandr Vlasov is one of them. Aleksandr Vlasov will not compete in the Tour of Switzerland's sixth stage. The stage five winner tested positive for the coronavirus and will be forced to abandon the race. Teammate Anton Palzer will also be forced to withdraw from the race due to covid infection.

The Russian climber won the fifth stage of the race and was coming into the mountains in the lead of the race, but has been stopped on his tracks with an infection that has come from an outbreak in the race. Teammate Anton Palzer also abandoned the race after testing positive.

These are only a few of the many cases that have been revealed this morning in the Tour de Suisse, which has caused several other teams and riders to abandon the race.
