With two months to go, the third edition of the Clásica Jaén Paraíso Interior, scheduled for February 12, 2024, presents a challenging and spectacular route, ready for another exciting #SuperLunesCiclista. Caja Rural de Jaén continues to support this cycling race that runs through the Sea of Olives, revealing the beauty of the province of Jaén and linking the World Heritage Cities of Úbeda and Baeza.

The elite peloton will face a route marked by the Olive Roads, a hallmark of this Classic sponsored by the Diputación de Jaén. These dirt sections will be the terrain where the cyclists will fight to succeed figures such as Alexey Lutsenko and Tadej Pogačar in the prestigious palmarès of the event.

The revealed route will follow an innovative layout with a final circuit that will allow fans to enjoy multiple views of the cyclists in action, a feature appreciated by fans. This race, inspired by cycling's best classics, aims to once again be the #SuperMondayCycling of the year.

Pascual Momparler, head of Momparler Cycling, said: "We respect the mythical sections and we want the race to be unpredictable. This is a race that shows the most beautiful of Jaén and is inspired by the best classics. We have everything we need to once again be the #SuperLunesCiclista of the year."

The route will start from Baeza and cross Linares, heading towards Ibros, where the climb will begin towards several crucial sections, including the steep sector of Antonio Machado, one of the memorable attack places in past editions. Cruz de Jaboneros and Soledades will be key sections before reaching Úbeda.

The route will continue with challenging ascents and descents, taking cyclists through picturesque landscapes to the final 20.4 kilometer circuit. This circuit will link Úbeda and Baeza, defining the race with three intense and challenging laps that will test riders on the Caminos de Olivos: Virgen de la Salud and Soledades.

The event will feature the Gran Fondo Jaén Paraíso Interior, which will allow cyclists to enjoy the same places and the same infrastructure as the professionals.

In summary, the Clásica Jaén Paraíso Interior 2024 promises to be an exciting challenge with a varied route, full of history and unique challenges that will test the riders and delight cycling fans.
