- Del Toro is a fine young rider and big talent, but he's done a grand tour this year, one in which he had to ride well nearly every day, no picking and choosing only stages that suited him. To ask him to contend in a second grand tour is too much to ask from such a young rider.
- rider weight is an excruciatingly difficult issue for young riders who are both impressionable and also trying to manage these issues mostly all alone. that goes for both men and women/ boys and girls. like any sport, when your young you look at your heroes and think I WANT TO BE LIKE THEM. i’ll be honest and say i DON’T know the facts on the prevalence of eating disorders among young riders, but i wouldn’t be surprised if it was quite high. much more, i seems, should be done to open this issue through discussion. thanks to demi for adding to the conversation.
- Very weird to say it's too much for him when it's a course that's largely made for a rider like him.
- I think you need to be careful! I hate dopers as much as anyone, BUT, AFAIK, there is no evidence of Horner being caught doping.
- Ha ha Trine needs to be kept away from the press, she is not helping Vingegaard at all shooting her mouth off to the press who may well have made it sound worse than it was.
- I think that how Roglic gets along with Remco is a more relevant point. 2023 was a long time ago in cycling terms.
- And ASO still welcomes him to their events! Speaks Volumes
- Wow you really took this out of context!
- Doper Horner doesn' know anything! Roglic and Remco will never work together as a 'team' !
- Lately I've wondered whether they'll actually have any time together at all.
