Fem van Empel solidifies lead with X2O Trofee Lille victory

Fem van Empel emerged victorious in the X2O Trofee Lille, prevailing over Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado and earning her 15th win of the season. This win further solidified her lead in the overall rankings, bringing her closer to achieving the overall victory.

The beginning was marked by disorder, and Fem van Empel was unable to capitalize on the chance to go ahead, leaving her lagging behind the others. After some time, Annemarie Worst, Lucinda Brand and Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado were leading and established a small gap.

However, van Empel soon joined the trio and managed to surpass them in the following lap. Alvarado was the only one who could keep up with her, whereas Worst tried but failed to keep pace.

Fem van Empel crossed the finish line first and celebrated the victory. Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado took the silver. Annemarie Worst took the bronze.
