Mathieu van der Poel has commented on the current conditions.
On the Cyclocross World Cup's Instagram page the Dutchman commented on the snow present on course this Friday in Val di Sole: “It's very tricky. It's something we're not used to anymore, but it's cool to be here." Van der Poel wanted to be present himself in this race after missing it last year, and with the end of the
Alpecin-Deceuninck training camp earlier in the week, he could travel to the Alps to try out a different kind of track.
