Fem van Empel beats Puck Pieterse to secure victory in CX Dublin

Fem van Empel has won the CX Dublin World Cup. She beat Puck Pieterse and secured her tenth victory of the season.

Marrie Schreiber started with a nice lead. Puck Pieterse was not lucky and encountered a mechanical problem. Denise Betsema managed to gain a small lead, with Fem Van Empel chasing just behind her.

Pieterse managed to join the lead despite her bad start. Van Empel dropped Betsema just before the final lap. It was a close call between Pieterse and Van Empel, and the latter crossed the finish line to celebrate her tenth victory of the season. Puck Pieterse satisfied herself with silver. Denise Betsema finished third.
