Stage 1 of the Tour de Pologne takes place today. Mother Nature has not been kind to the riders or the race however with absolutely torrential rain causing havoc.
So bad are the heavy wind and rain, the final kilometre barriers have been blown all over the place in some incredible scenes. With the riders quickly approaching the finale, time is ticking for the people in charge to sort out the mess.
