There has been so much talk about the gravel sectors of stage 9 at the 2024 Tour de France and just two sectors in, the drama is already reaching fever pitch.
Showing why it is so important to be at the front of the peloton on a day such as this, as the peloton entered the second sector, those halfway down the bunch were brought to a complete standstill. With some riders finding it difficult to get back going on the tricky, gravel surface, a number of riders took to running with their bike a la Chris Froome of Tour de France's gone by.
