The 35-year old revealed the news with a long post on social media, thanking his family, friends and teammates for the long years in the peloton - 13 of them being at World Tour level, and since 2012 all of them have been with the BikeExchange structure. This will be his final season, one where he's played a domestique role throughout several races along the year, mostly in support of the team's sprinters.
