- I was a huge fan of Cycling News for many years. It was my go-to every day. I dug deep into the forums and read hundreds of comments. They had great writers particularly Barry Ryan. I left Cycling News when they introduced a pay wall. Adds on this site are annoying and sometimes I can't close them and need start the article again. I take them at their word and understanding what I've seen him accomplish with my own eyes. There is no doubt he and Jonas are in the 95/96 Vo2 max range, maybe more, some has estimated Tadej is a 102. We know where Lance was as he was tested multiple times during his career at varying altitudes, we know what Lemonds Vo2 was as well.
