Laurenz Rex escapes injury free from multiple Paris-Roubaix crashes

There are always plenty of crashes at Paris-Roubaix and the 2024 edition was no different. One man who was seemingly caught up in more instances than most however, was Laurenz Rex.

First coming down in an early mass pile up that saw the likes of Elia Viviani and Jonas Rutsch forced to abandon, Rex managed to recover and work his way back to the front of the race before spectacularly somersaulting over some road furniture and withdrawing himself a few moments later. Thankfully though, after medical tests, Rex has escaped injury free.

"Good news. No major injury for Laurenz Rex despite his two crashes. He begins a rest period to heal his wounds and prepare the next goals," confirm his team in a statement.
