Groupama-FDJ promotes Romain Gregoire to WorldTour team - "It's great that the team rewarded us in the best possible way"

French rider Romain Gregoire will ride for Groupama - FDJ at WorldTour starting next season . He used to ride for Groupama-FDJ at the continental level. Seven other riders are also promoted to WorldTour team.

“I think it's great that the team has put their trust in us,” said Gregoire. He continues, “ The fact that we result early on in the season has put us all on positive momentum, and everyone was able to raise their arms at some point in the year. It's great that the team rewarded us in the best possible way.”

It is clear that Gregoire deserves a promotion based on his performance this year. Among his victories, he won the sixth stage of the Tour de l'Avenir, the final stage of the Giro d'Italia Giovani Under 23, Flèche Ardennaise, the G.P. Palio del Recioto - Trophy C, and the Giro del Belvedere. “The new generation is looking forward to the WorldTour level, and we want to be in the game as soon as possible and support our experienced leaders as best we can,” concluded Gregoire.
