Filippo Ganna and Magnus Sheffield prepare for Paris Olympics at stacked Tour of Austria

There is no other WorldTour race taking place next to the Grande Boucle, however that doesn't mean the cycling world stopped spinning for a month. Throughout the July, we'll see numerous popular one-week stage races across the Europe, starting with the traditional Tour of Austria.

INEOS Grenadiers approach the race with real ambition to fight for stages, if not the GC with multiple cards. Most striking is the name of Filippo Ganna, who'll race in Austria despite lack of time trial kilometers in the 6-day stage race. For the Italian it's the final appointment ahead of the Olympic Games, where he has ambitions both on road and track.

Same goal pushes forward Magnus Sheffield, who is set to represent the United States in Paris had a bit of rest after completing the Giro d'Italia (just like Ganna) and now he'll use Austria to fine-tune his form as his preparations for Paris are culminating.
