Demi Vollering, guest of honor at the Uitblinkerslunch with the Dutch Royalty

The talented Demi Vollering, winner of the Tour de France Femmes and the Amstel Gold Race, had the honor of being invited to a truly special event in the Netherlands: the Uitblinkerslunch, organized by the Royal Household. On this occasion, Demi shared a lunch with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima, along with 25 other Dutch celebrities who were also honored for their remarkable achievements.

The SD Worx team rider, known for her impressive victory in the Women's Tour de France and her outstanding performance in the Amstel Gold Race, was one of the highlights of the event. Her moving speech after her Tour win left a strong impression on the cycling community and beyond.

Demi Vollering shared her unique experience on social media, joking about her choice of wardrobe for the occasion. "I'm wearing a different uniform," she wrote on Instagram with a laugh. "I received an invitation from the King and Queen to have lunch at the palace and I couldn't say no."
