Like several other teams, today's presentation of the Tour de France has seen some teams reveal new equipments for the biggest race of the year, and although small, Lotto Soudal's surprising changes have caught the eyes of many.
Whilst Caleb Ewan will be looking to bring in stage wins in the bunch sprints, the Belgian team will be looking for further success in the hilly days and breakaways with the likes of Tim Wellens, Andreas Kron and Brent van Moer being very dangerous riders to consider throughout the three weeks.
The obvious changes being the light blue helmets and the same colour on one stripe in the arms and the legs respectively. The reason behind this unusual appearance change will be due to the entrance of Dstny as a sponsor.
Dstny is a Belgian technology company which will become co-sponsor of the World Tour team in 2023 and has been brought in already into the team so as "to provide a soft-landing next season".
