Demi Vollering shifts her focus to Gravel World Championships at the end of the season

The road season is now over for Demi Vollering, but the Tour winner will still compete in another discipline. She will compete in the Gravel World Championships in Veneto, Italy, on Saturday, October 7. She confirmed this to WielerFlits, among others, after the European Championships in Drenthe.
Vollering certainly has experience as a gravel rider. In 2021 she was crowned the very first Dutch champion in the discipline. She has not yet competed in the Gravel World Championships. Last year, the crown and rainbow jersey went to multi-discipline star Pauline Ferrand-Prévot,
