After another disgustingly wet and cold day at the Giro d'Italia, it would have been understandable for any of the peloton's spirits to be down. Not Primoz Roglic though, the Jumbo-Visma leader remained upbeat.
“It was very cold and rainy. The long descent certainly didn't help either. It is not for nothing that thirty men enter the first group," recaps Jumbo-Visma sports director Marc Reef in conversation with Eurosport following the conclusion of stage 10.

As the focus of the discussion turned to the Jumbo-Visma leader Primoz Roglic who now sits second in the general classification, just two seconds off the Maglia Rosa following the departure of Remco Evenepoel due to a positive covid test, Reef reveals that Roglic is incredibly upbeat.
"He came in without any problems. He just came here smiling at the bus," he reveals. “The team kept him out of trouble and kept him relatively warm throughout the stage. He just finished well."
