Jorgenson had some standout performances at the beginning of the 2023 season, including overall victory at the Tour of Oman and second overall at the Tour de Romandie. With his move to the all-conquering Team Visma | Lease a Bike, Jorgenson now feels he's perfectly placed to take the next step in his development. “So for me, it just seemed like an easy decision,” he explains. “For me, it’s more about seeing, the best version of myself. That’s what I’m most excited for and that’s kind of what gets me up in the morning.”

Merijn Zeeman when asked what attracted them to the American. “First off, most important for us, was his mindset and his eagerness to get better, and what we can offer, training wise, equipment wise, nutrition wise, and having a real strong lineup of riders who are super professional, that’s what he was looking for.”
