It was a good day for Marion Norbert-Riberolle. The Belgian finished third in the Superprestige Ruddervoorde and was able to climb onto the podium of a Superprestige race for the first time in her career.
"I had good legs," she said in a quick interview afterwards. "It wasn't easy with the new sections on the course. The first lap was not perfect, but I was better than last weekend in Overijse."
"I didn't expect this," said Norbert-Riberolle about her third place. "Because Overijse was difficult for me. But I have spoken to my new trainer Philip Walsleben. He told me to just have faith."
"When I caught up with Van Alphen and Inge, I knew I could go for the podium. I felt better in the corners and on some parts of the track. I tried to get back to Annemarie, I thought it was still possible. But it is my first podium in a Superprestige competition. I am happy with this."
