Also, the coverage is absolutely abysmal compared to ITV4!! You can't beat Ned Boulting, David Millar and Peter Kennaugh and host by Gary Imlach of course. The Eurosport/Discovery commentary is just useless. I hope they get the ITV4 guys on the job. I'm not sure I will subscribe.31-10-2024 22:31

Jonas is a good guy, but no matter if he wins Giro and Tour next year (I don't think he will win both), he won't match Pogacar with his range of wins. Unless Jonas starts varying his race schedule, Pogacar will go down in history as the more accomplished rider. I don't think Jonas is capable of that.18-10-2024 23:26

You are 100% correct in what you say, but like the last two Tours de France where one of the favourites was injured in the run-up, effectively hampering their chances, you can only race who is there at the time, with whatever equipment, training, nutrition etc. While I live Pogacar and I do think he's the best, Merckx could only compete with the standard of competitor of the time. I just hope he goes for the grand tour clean sweep next time. All 3 in one season, which, let's face it, if he wasn't focused on the triple crown this year, I think he could easily have done it. I can't see anyone doing all what he has achieved this year - ever30-09-2024 20:33

I'm not sure he can pull it off, but I do think he will be better and stronger next year. He always seemed to be full of excuses why he didn't win, but this year I feel he matured and I don't think he does that now, has no need to. He cant compete with Pogi and Jonas yet, but I think it's only a matter of time. Massive respect to him. What a year he's had 🤜🤛25-09-2024 00:12
