Before you project your virtue any further on a sport that is today completely managed by past riders and associates who doped, you need to get perspective: Johan is not currently involved with professional cycling. ...Every single team in the World Tour has past dopers on the payroll...some are directors. Johan has more insight, knowledge, experience and expertise than practically any other cycling journalist, blogger, announcer, rider, director, or any other "expert". Eddie Merckx, the great that many people consider the GOAT, was doper, caught, admitted, punished, and suspended. 30 years later in 1998 follwing the Festina Affair, Merckx stated that the TdF can not be won without doping. His son was also a doper. He knew about Armstrong's doping the whole time. ....Again, don't cast virtue towards Johan without at least acknowledging that there isn't a single part of the sport to this day that isn't tainted by past, if not current, doping connections.
