Terrible display of poor sportsmanship by the putative leaders of Jumbo Visma. And the arguments made by the riders, as well as in the comments below, that the "strongest rider should win", contradicts every aspect of cycling as a team sport........and is hypocritical at best. I don't imagine there are many instances of teams going with the "every one go for it" strategy. No matter what happens by the end of this tour - god forbid it's one of Roglic or Vingegaard taking the red jersey - what could have been a crowning jewel for Jumbo Visma is a tainted, shameful display of what is worst in sport. My days of rooting for JV are long gone now. And I'm not a biased American, for what it's worth.
