The Vuelta a Espana starts on the 17th of August and finishes on the 8th of September. It is the final Grand Tour of the season and, like every year, it will feature a luxurious startlist packed with climbers, sprinters and classics riders looking for their final opportunity to win big in a Grand Tour.
22 teams take part in the Vuelta a España this year with all 18 World Tour outfits, including UAE Team Emirates and Team Visma | Lease a Bike. Lotto Dstny and Israel - Premier Tech have obtained direct wildcards from having been the two best UCI-point scoring teams in 2023 that aren't part of the World Tour. Spanish teams Euskaltel - Euskadi and Equipo Kern Pharma have obtained the other two wildcards.
