TdF GCs: Pog 5, Jonas 2, so no par in your scenario.11:29

What a d**k! If Pogi hadn’t shown up can you imagine how disappointed the Slovenian fans would have been after the already massive disappointment of his not being able to race?!11:15

Del Toro did far more work in that group than any of the others, he spent far too much of his energy pulling on the front with everyone else just sat in his wheel! Then they have the cheek to complain when he needs a break and they have to chase themselves! Boohoo! Just looking for any excuse they can find.03-10-2026 12:39

Don’t be so dismissive. He may have “only” won WC this season, but last season he won stages and overall at several stage races, including Tour of Poland, and GP Montreal (admittedly a Pogi gift). Maybe the rainbows will give him wings.03-10-2026 12:32

Pogi won 6 stages at that 2024 Giro (not 5). Sorry for pedantry but facts are facts.03-10-2026 12:22

Hope he comes back as brilliant as ever for 27 and beyond. Can’t wait!03-10-2026 12:00

I never watched cycling back when LA was riding, but from what I’ve heard LA was a nasty piece of work in the Peloton, so nothing would surprise me! 😆01-10-2026 10:49

Wout had a great year, finally getting a cobble, plus green jersey and 2 stages at Vuelta and fantastic team work for Brennan, plus other nice wins, but all the Belgian press (and others) can see now is what happened at Worlds. Give the guy a break!01-10-2026 10:42

But even then he carried on working after getting his breath back. Pidcock probably p’d off that it was del Toro who rode down his late attack with Ciccone.01-10-2026 10:37

Del Toro did a LOT of work riding on the front pulling that group along, with Seixas sat on his wheel. By the time McNulty went he can’t have had much left.01-10-2026 10:05
