however you frame it, it seems that they asked more from Ayuso (who obviously did not deliver the needed support) than they are asking from del Torro ... who - according to this quote - just needs to show up and can then ride however he likes.08-01-2026 19:45

„We’re not asking anything of him, except that he’s there.“ … what was the problem with Ayuso then?08-01-2026 08:04

every sports develops over time. one common pattern is specialization of different types of riders (or players or whatever it is in any other sports). anyone who is not stupid nor ignorant knows this. the fact that he ignores probably only reflects his unsatisfaction about the loss of status that comes with retirement from professional sports. poor sportsmanship.15-11-2025 17:08

what a looser. seems like his self confidence is down the drain. obviously, he never had anything else but his cycling past to be proud of. by the way ... pogi does not lace any shoes, they have boa these days...08-11-2025 18:44

It sounds like he is seriously considering a new, more supportive role, which reflects well on him by demonstrating an acceptance of reality. The reality is that he is the weakest among the team's three general classification contenders. If this is the case, it shows a level of maturity beyond that of many others and could potentially extend his tenure with the team for several more years.13-10-2025 13:15
