David Gaudu and Stefan Küng lead charge for Groupama - FDJ at Vuelta a Espana

Groupama - FDJ are hunting for stage wins at the Vuelta a España. After a disappointing Tour de France where they were not close to achieving their goals, the French team is looking to turn it's luck around in Spain on the many hilly and mountainous stages.

David Gaudu, taking into consideration the route, is the team's best option to succeed. Initially Lenny Martínez was set to lead the team but after the team learnt that he was going to leave towards Bahrain - Victorious, he was taken to the Tour de France where he showed no form. Gaudu, who also did not show good form during the Grand Boucle, hopes to show different legs this time around.

Stefan Küng is a good option to win on the time-trials, including the opening day in Lisbon which has a red jersey to hand out. The 30-year old recently finished in the Top10 of both time-trial and road race in the Olympic Games.

Kevin Geniets, Quentin Pacher and Rémy Rochas will be good options for the many hilly days of the race whilst the lineup is complete by other breakaway seekers Sven Erik Bystrom, Lorenzo Germani and Reuben Thompson.
