Eddie Dunbar, Filippo Zana, Chris Harper and more give Team Jayco AlUla plenty of options for 2024 Vuelta a Espana

The final Grand Tour of 2024 is almost upon us and for Team Jayco AlUla, there is a final chance to make an impact at the top of the general classification standings as they put forward an eight-man lineup full of options for the Vuelta a Espana.

With a climbing heavy lineup, the Aussie-based outfit have a strong block that could be well suited for either stage wins or a potential top 10/ top 5 challenge in the general classification of the Vuelta a Espana. Best placed to put forward the latter, are the trio of Filippo Zana, Eddie Dunbar and Chris Harper.

Former Italian national champion Zana, who finished 11th overall at the Giro d'Italia earlier this year, was relatively quiet at Clasica San Sebastian last weekend, but could definitely be a threat for a stage win. Dunbar, who secured a 7th placed finish at the Giro in 2023, saw his first Grand Tour ended in disappointment on stage 3 earlier this campaign as a result of lingering injuries from a nasty crash. As such, this is a great chance for redemption for the Irishman.

Harper too has been no stranger to a nasty crash this season, with the talented Australian consistently seeing his races ended early, as happened at the Criterium du Dauphine, the Tour of the Alps and the Tour de France already this campaign with his Alps crash being especially spectacular.

With the likes of Swiss talent Mauro Schmid, the experienced Alessandro De Marchi, German prospect Felix Engelhardt, Aussie Miles Scotson and Ethiopian Welay Berhe, in his second Vuelta a Espana, it is a lineup full of opportunities for Team Jayco AlUla.

Team Jayco AlUla for the 2024 Vuelta a Espana:

Eddie Dunbar
Miles Scotson
Filippo Zana
Welay Berhe
Chris Harper
Alessandro De Marchi
Mauro Schmid
Felix Engelhardt
