8 seasons? What don't you understand? From 2019 to 2026 is already 8 seasons. From 2027 to 2032 will be additional 6 seasons... all together meaning 14 seasons. Pogi said, not so long ago, that he will never leave UAE, even if he won't compete anymore. Pogi will heal... Pogi will once again prevail in 2027 and become even better. If we analyze his racing, he isn't beating mediocre riders in different disciplines. He's beating specialists: -Mathieu van der Poel is one of the greatest Classics riders of his generation. -Jonas Vingegaard is an exceptional Grand Tour climber. -Remco Evenepoel is an extraordinary time trialist and one-day racer. -Wout van Aert has enormous versatility. I also think that the return to racing is unrealistic for Pogi. But "IF" he was to return, he should only do the last race this season, and that is the fifth Monument- Il Lombardia, in October 10, 2026. IF he would win it, he would be the first cyclist in history to win four consecutive Monuments in the same year, whith being second in Paris-Roubaix. Now I'm not saying that's a smart thing to do, but you never know with these sports "super-humans" like Pogi, Jonas, Remco or Marquez... and todays science in medical technology.
