The cycling world has witnessed a 2023 season marked by the outstanding performance of
Sepp Kuss, the only rider who participated exclusively in World Tour (WT) level competitions and eventually went on to win the Vuelta a España. While other cyclists were divided between different categories of races, Kuss focused his attention on the most prestigious ones, which allowed him to achieve an impressive level of success.
The American, known for his mountain prowess and commitment to the
Jumbo-Visma team, completed the most successful year of his life, helping Primoz Roglic win the Giro d'Italia, Jonas Vingegaard the Tour de France and winning the last major stage race of the year.

However, he is not alone in this ranking. Rigoberto Urán and Alberto Bettiol, both EF Education-EasyPost riders, also achieved a high percentage of participation in WT races, with 97%.
Wilco Kelderman, the Dutch rider, placed fourth with 95% of WT races. Kelderman has proven to be a key part of his team and has been among the contenders in numerous WT races throughout the year.
The list continues with other outstanding cyclists, such as Chris Hamilton and Dylan van Baarle, who scored a solid 94% participation in WT competitions. Jonas Vingegaard and Mattia Cattaneo, with 93% each, also stood out in the 2023 season. Lots of Jumbo-Visma on this list, demonstrating their fixation on the most important races of the year.
