Jumbo-Visma are making heavy moves in the market this winter with the likes of Dylan van Baarle and Wilco Kelderman between the names set to join the Dutch team, however they will also be missing some key riders such as Mike Teunissen who is likely on his way out.
Velonews' Daniel Benson reported that the Dutch rider is likely to be leaving Jumbo-Visma and will be moving towards Intermarché - Wanty - Gobert Matériaux. This would be a move that would interest both sides as the Dutchman would find a classics-focused team with a wide variety of opportunities and freedom.
The Belgian team was also heavily linked to Rui Costa recently, as they continue to work on their classics squad to keep building on strong results and maintenance at World Tour level for years to come.
Teunissen was the winner of the opening stage of the 2019 Tour de France aswell as other big wins which have seen him as one of the best riders of the season within the peloton. His sprinting abilities alongside his cobbled classics talent seen him grow into a valuable domestique role for Wout van Aert over the years, however he will be seeking his own opportunities.
Teunissen was inside the long shortlist of Jumbo-Visma for the Tour de France where they dominated the race, however didn't get selected due to the high competition and will subsequently ride the upcoming Vuelta a España. He will be back to competition this coming week at the Tour de Pologne.
