I really liked Simon Yates ride on Stage 20 of the Giro. It was completely unexpected and unpredictable, and offered the kind of tension, excitement, and drama that I greatly enjoy seeing in a bike race.

Simon Yates Giro was very well earned by Simon himself and the team. Of course the brain fart by del toro UAE and Carapaz helped. but he also put in incredible numbers with the team's support

He won a grand tour, it's hardly a miss lots of folk are lauding Jonas' GT win as a great season why not Simon. Okay you could argue that Carapaz and Del Torro threw it away but Simon had to go out and win it and he did on the Finestre
