The new UCI rankings update from Raúl Banqueri has revealed slight changes after the Criterium du Dauphiné and Tour de Suisse, Arkéa Samsic and Astana Qazaqstan Team have found themselves losing more ground when it comes to their hopes of long-term World Tour maintenance.

Although this specific ranking will only end at the end of 2025, when the next block begins in 2026, as it stands, both the French and Kazakh team would be relegated, as both Lotto Dstny and Israel - Premier Tech continue to make good ground and are in front of several World Tour teams. Michael Woods won La Route d'Occitanie, whilst AG2R overtook Team Jayco AlUla - who is now on 18th position, despite having themselves won the Tour of Slovenia - after strong performances from Ben O'Connor and Felix Gall at the Criterium du Dauphiné and Tour de Suisse respectively.

Astana have been absent from the main stage, however they have gained points from the Asian Continental Championships. There they have scored 660 points, more than 20% of their entire season's points so far, as they lacked competition of high level. Uno-X Pro Cycling Team has in the meantime overtaken TotalEnergies as the third best scoring ProTeam, giving them provisionally access to all World Tour one-day races.

In the head of affairs little has changed as UAE had Adam Yates finish second at the Criterium du Dauphiné and Juan Ayuso finish second in Suisse, contrasting with Jumbo-Visma victory in the first with Jonas Vingegaard, Wilco Kelderman's fourth spot in Suisse and Olav Kooij's victory at the ZLM Tour.

Jumbo and UAE stand out again, while Ineos has been the worst WorldTeam in the previous races to the Tour. Uno-X will debut at the Tour as the third ProTeam in the UCI ranking, despite being the team most disadvantaged by the new scoring system. Full ranking analysis 👇
