- This is not accurate. Spain has indeed absorbed few thousands jews from the Vichy regime, while still adopting some antisemitic aspects from it's Axis allies. It's more of a myth cultivated by Franco to show a more humane side of Spain
- It’s not just the ME, colonial powers (and dome bully nations) have messed up so many countries by continuing to meddle in their affairs or pitting fractions against each other for a few elite to obtain financial gains leaving the working and middle class with all the socieral problems that forced immigration often brings and from which the elite are shielded. If we want the West to return to what is was our best bet is to forego a small percentage of those margins and invest that in growth in the countries where we want immigrants to stay. Give them hope of a future and they’ll forget about emigrating. People are extremely attached to their roots and don’t leave without very good reason. A place like Afghanistan would have been relatively decent if they hadn’t been successively attacked by Brits, Russians and then Americans, each leaving a bigger mess and more dangerous people in charge upon leaving. Iran, not very different. WMD in Iraq, yes at some point, organised by the CIA for use against Iranians, but official Intel must have miscalculated how much of the stock had been used. NONE of the problematic countries created problems without the help of dark « western » influence.
- OK, but let's not act like they didn't let in a whole bunch more people from the Middle East since the 90s, mainly due to the diaspora caused by the War on Terror.
I don't really blame most of those people either. The West ruined their country and opened their borders, why not?
- Give the man a contract
- Spain is one of the most jew tolerant countries around, and certainly helped ordinary jews (the US was good at picking those deemed useful) far more during WWII than mist, even neutral countries. They’re just not into zionism
- Why only at bike races then, why not everywhere, like, as someone very rightly reminded us (funny how quick some forget in the heat of seeking arguments) places like The Capitol? What’s sacred about bike races (that impose themselves right where people are living or busy).
- Not only Lotto, Once was a very smart way to make people feel bad about criticising betting.
- The leaders of Hamas live in Qatar mind you. Some of them worth billions of dollars from "charity" money
- "exactly right. the leaders of Hamas sit in palaces in safe places," Those palaces must be underground then. There is very little left standing above ground.
- Spain is in fierce competition with Iran - who despises most the Zionist entity
