- I agree, however similarly to Gall, Pidcock is never going to act as a domestique. Harper is on the decline with his heyday at last years Giro with Jayco. De la Cruz is the upshot however he needs a lot more support than this to challenge Pogacar and co. I think Decathlon, with their eye to expansion, would be fantastic for him and the sport in general.
- Ramírez is a great talent but not yet at the level of being the next big thing. Lorenzo Finn gave him a thrashing and quite easily so. Of course Finn's numbers are comparable to those of the Giro podium, but Ramírez still needs to show more
- What experts? Amateur "experts?"
- I wouldn't say they aren't as strong. Pidc*ck is stronger than any other rider at Decathlon (except for Felix Gall, who is too strong to be a domestíque). Chris Harper is doing very well, while Eddie Dunbar not so much but still adds depth. David de la Cruz is still good. And they can still sign more riders.
- I see his chances of beating the rest of the favourites on a summit finish (Orsieres-Merlette is easiest) as higher than reaching the podium
- With Q36.5 being unable to offer climbing support, he would be far better off staying at Decathlon. Any team, other than UAE, would also be good.

- "His season had been built almost entirely around peaking in July. "
this is probably the wrongest thing to do for a rider trying to prove themselves
- Yesterday Jonas had a chance in the Time trail, today in the high mountains. Tomorrow he will be better in the flat stages.
Is there anything Tadej is better at?
According to these experts Tadej has no chance!
LOL!
- As long as it is not UAE. That would just be too sad. Kill the sport.
