Jumbo-Visma have not stopped their dominance at the Tour de France, as Wout van Aert and Jonas Vingegaard finished first and second at the final time-trial, extending and confirming the success that they have built throughout the last few weeks.

Mikkel Bjerg set a strong early time, but Filippo Ganna put on a top performance to take over the lead with a threatening time. It was one that was not going to be easy to beat, however Wout van Aert rolled across the line decimating his time. The victory seemed a certainty, however when the GC podium went off the win was far from certain, with all three riders coming very close between each other through the intermediate sprints.
Towards the end the Belgian did manage to finally open the gap, as he took his third stage win in the race. Jonas Vingegaard rode more calmly towards the finish, having the decond best time in what was a very emotional finale for both riders. Tadej Pogacar finished third on the day, again just behind the Dane as he worked for his second place in the GC.
